My approach to photography is very straightforward. I create the best work I can in the given situation. If I’m collaborating with others my main goal is to be easy to work with. I’ve found that success for everyone involved is as simple as those two principals. That and cool lighting, of course.
I grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio. I have a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design. I’ve been a full-time professional photographer for 15 years. I’ve shot portraits on location and in the studio, news, events, feature stories, weddings and even dogs. My work has been featured in national print publications and websites and I’ve won awards for it. I live in metro Atlanta and currently work at Georgia Tech in Institute Communications. I have a wife, a daughter, a pug and a fish tank. I’m in my late mid 30s.
